I Have Not Decided on a Title

Much like everything else in my life.

Press Any Key To Continue

I have decided that my brain needs msconfig. If you've never played with it [shame on you] it's a little program on Windows (you can find it by clicking Start > Run > msconfig) that lets you shut off programs that start when Windows starts, thus cutting back on the amount of time you need to wait before your computer is any kind of useful and also cutting back the ungodly amount of tiny icons you might have in your system tray. (Random fact: I have 17!)

Anyway, I have decided that I need this because I have a very slow startup time in the morning. Like Windows, in the morning I am slow, grumpy, and I make noises at you if you honestly expect me to do anything.

Once I get going [see: caffinated =(] everything's okay though and I have lots of RAM so I can be left on for days at a time if need be.

Blarghle. I have things that I should be doing today so I am limiting my internetting! Starting later.

It Tastes Better Than It Looks

Successful drinks made in college cafeterias:
- Orange root beer [50% orange soda, 50% root beer]
- Hawaiian Punch - esque Fizzy Drink [roughtly 40% orange soda, 30% grape juice, 30% apple juice]

Failed experiments:
- Apple Pepsi [50% apple juice, 50% pepsi]

I also successfully made a substitute for Mountain Dew Code Red because they do not have it there, by mixing Mountain Dew and either Cherry Pepsi or punch--I do not remember which.

The mixings are very impromptu and mostly done by instinct, but if anybody would like to suggest something I would be excited to try it. (The experiments have been slightly limited by the fact that they took away the Kool-Aid.)

Though They Make No Sense

Randomly acquired blogrelated quote of the day:

"blogs aren't for telling people that you do things, it's for doing cool things so you can tell people about them!"

It's another beautiful October day which can only mean it is going to snow by Halloween, because I live in Wisconsin and that's how things like to work around here.

I have a wonderfully exciting programming assignment I really should start working on (make a clock that does things when you push buttons!) and also a history quiz tomorrow I really should study for because I zoned out during most of class (I can't figure out why history interests me but I do so horrible in any history class) and if I don't want to do that, I have a room to clean and a guitar to practice and secret projects to be re-un-abandoning.

Maybe I'll just read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. So far it's been the biggest perk of working at Goodwill--I found a copy of all 6 Guide books in one volume for $2.25. It's a very large book.

I also could go to a Halo party tonight--it's been forever since I went and I really want to go, but I've also been offered to go study for a music theory test which is something I should probably be doing as well. So I should probably be making some decisions here.

Or maybe I'll just make random senseless posts? Yeah, that seems good.
