Never Too Late

Less Than Jake's new CD, In With the Out Crowd, is really different [as far as I can tell] from any of their older stuff. If I'd heard it without knowing it was them, I don't know if I'd even know that it was, except maybe for the few songs that feature the horns [and I can understand the desire to experiment with different styles, but I can't help wondering if JR and Buddy (sax and trombone) feel kind of cheated on some of the songs] but after listening to it about a billion times because I don't have the ambition to change the CD in my car, I think I like it anyway. Plus, for pre-ordering, I got a free signed poster, which is also pretty cool.

Blargh. I don't know what to post because the most I've accomplished over the past 2 weeks is buying and beating Beyond Good and Evil, which is a game I've been trying to find for Gamecube since about the day it was released and I finally found it at Gamestop. I also submitted an application to Lakeview, a mental health clinic [laugh it up] as a clerk because I need a job money and in the off-chance I can get it, it's well-paying.

"Okay! Enough boring stuff. Be interesting, Chris," you say.

"Shut up, I'm trying my hardest and you're not helping any!" I reply angrily, insisting that angrily really -is- a word regardless of how silly and not-mad it looks when you type it.

"But Chriiiiis."

"No!"
