I Have Not Decided on a Title

Much like everything else in my life.

How Do You Do It?

I know I said something about posting more frequently, but then we bought Guitar Hero, and well...let's just say, Secret Prototype X is going to be quite delayed.

Also, I don't have a car anymore. =( The brakes are shot and the alternator is fried and it's not worth spending 900 dollars on repairs for a car worth 300. So I need a new car. Anybody want to contribute to the get-Chris-on-the-road-again fund?

No, seriously.

Just In Case...You Would Need Full Samurai Regalia

This post is not, in truth, late or overdue in any way. I tried posting it last week and Blogger flipped me off and erased the couple paragraphs I had typed, and I haven't been talking to it since then.

Anyway, I've got a job now, I work in donations at Goodwill, which seems like a pretty decent job so far. Plus, I get a discount. At Goodwill. Sweet.

If I started posted daily, would you guys still comment occasionally? I'm thinking about posting once a day or so, but mostly just little snippets unless I have something worth talking about. But I need to know you're out there. =(

Also, I think I'd post more if Blogger weren't so cranky all the time. When I click BlogThis, a window pops up and then takes way longer to load than it should. In fact, comments have been doing that lately do, and it's starting to bug me. I'm warning you, Blogger: I'm this close to just going to LiveJournal. I like you better, I really do. But LiveJournal seems to consistantly, well...work. Get your act together, man! You were better before you sold out.

Another also, I have a secret project in the works. Right now it's only an idea that I thought sometime during the summer and thought about starting, and did a little bit, but lately it's been in my head again. The only thing that really stopped me before was that I'm really not very good at Photoshop, and the project is kinda dependent on it. The other hang-up is that I'm trying to tell complete stories, about people, without ever -showing- people and that's kind of tricky. I guess you'll get the idea if I finish SECRET PROTOTYPE X which definitely isn't a ripoff of Diesel Sweetie's SECRET PROJECT X. Nosiree.

For those of you keeping track at home, I managed to get out of calculus and pick up the computer science class I wanted. Yay for not having to do advanced calculations for another semester!

Also, I got a job! I start at Goodwill Friday.

So, Happy Free Day Off, everyone! I mean, Labor Day.

I Know That It's Not Payday But...

There are so many things wrong with this world.

So I've finally managed to get an interview, at Goodwill, and I really hope I get a job there because I really need a paycheck. Also, I need to get my car fixed so that if I get a job, I can get -to- my job. And if it turns out that I need to fix more than just the brakes, well...it's the end for my little white Toyota. So there's a possibility I'll be in the market for a new car soon. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also, I think I've got my class schedule all worked out.

11:00-11:55 M W F College Writing (ENG110)
11:00-12:12 T H Life in 20th Century America (HIS206)

The only variable is Calculus, which I really want to drop to take a computer science class that is more important, but that class is filled up, so I'm going to watch it constantly till classes start to see if somebody drops it and I can get a slot. I'm also not totally sure about this history class, because Radio Production is offered at the same time, but it's filled too. If it does open up again though, I'm not sure which I want to take more. I'll probably stick with the history class because it fills one of my gen. ed. requirements. So tomorrow I'm going to go get my books, minus calculus 'cause I'm still hoping I'll get out of it.

Also tomorrow, I need to get a haircut because I'm starting to look like a hippy. My bangs extend -past- the tip of my nose and that makes it difficult to see so they have to be parted and it just looks kind of silly.

So tomorrow: Haircut, books, and interview. All without a car, so I'm depending on borrowing Martin's or Cody's [like he'd even let me drive his pretty Firebird alone].
