There are so many things wrong with this world. So I've finally managed to get an interview, at Goodwill, and I really hope I get a job there because I really need a paycheck. Also, I need to get my car fixed so that if I get a job, I can get -to- my job. And if it turns out that I need to fix more than just the brakes, well...it's the end for my little white Toyota. So there's a possibility I'll be in the market for a new car soon. Anyone have any suggestions?
Also, I think I've got my class schedule all worked out.
8:50 - 9:45 MTWHF Music Theory (MUS235)
11:00-11:55 M W F College Writing (ENG110)
11:00-12:12 T H Life in 20th Century America (HIS206)
1:10 - 2:05 MTWHF Calculus I (MTH207)
2:15 - 3:10 MTWH Wind Symphony
3:55 - 4:50 T Applied Television (CST275)
7:00 - 8:00 T Jazz
The only variable is Calculus, which I really want to drop to take a computer science class that is more important, but that class is filled up, so I'm going to watch it constantly till classes start to see if somebody drops it and I can get a slot. I'm also not totally sure about this history class, because Radio Production is offered at the same time, but it's filled too. If it does open up again though, I'm not sure which I want to take more. I'll probably stick with the history class because it fills one of my gen. ed. requirements. So tomorrow I'm going to go get my books, minus calculus 'cause I'm still hoping I'll get out of it.
Also tomorrow, I need to get a haircut because I'm starting to look like a hippy. My bangs extend -past- the tip of my nose and that makes it difficult to see so they have to be parted and it just looks kind of silly.
So tomorrow: Haircut, books, and interview. All without a car, so I'm depending on borrowing Martin's or Cody's [like he'd even let me drive his pretty Firebird alone].
